"In Everything Give Thanks"

1 Thessalonians 5:18
"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

---- First of all, I'd like to announce, well, this is my first post in "Ruthie's Journal", but also I will be adding a Bible verse AND one thing I am thankful for every day I post on this blog.----

I am thankful...
For a Saviour, family, and friends that truly do care about me, and are nice to me even when I'm crabby and get annoyed because I'm either tired, stressed, or just plain feeling mean. Thank you for being so patient and loving me even though I know I don't deserve it! Thank you!

Journal Entry #1

---- I'll say it right now, this has been a very very very stressful and crazy week for me, and this coming Monday should be equally crazy. I had a Women's Choral Ensemble concert at the Portland Grotto on Monday, and another performance with the same group on Thursday at Clark College. Then Friday night I sang with the Concert Choir at the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics. Wow, that took way less energy to type that for me to write in my normal journal! I could get used to this! :)

---- Enough about me, Joy and Kayla popped in on Heather and Holly today at the tea house they work at, and the only suveneir I got was a handful of Christmas-colored popcorn. Tasty! ;) Okay, fine I can't avoid not editing myself in, oh well. Monday morning and evening I have finals, my last major scary finals. PRAY lots for me (just don't cast any)!

---- I already miss singing in my choirs, and can't wait to start in on our new music for next quarter. So what if we are moving in-between now and then I want to sing!! Great job everyone who is reading this and performed last week. You were truly amazing! Smile! :^)

---- Okay, I'm not going to make these long, just short synopsis and introspection on how things are going. I played a fun network computer version of Knights and Cities of Catan game with two of my older brothers today, and won! Oh, and after the concert last night I totally convinced Jeremy to buy Joy and I chocolate hazelnut milkshakes at Burgerville, and they had a cherry red Corvette inside! *drool* Sorry.

---- Short, yes, I promised this would be short, someone make me stop typing, this is too easy, please, anyone, must type, don't want to prepare for finals too much work shouldn't have eaten that third burrito and two green bananas but I don't really care and why am I typing like this I haven't even had coffee in over a year unless you count the chocolate covered espresso beans Shannon gave me. Thank you Shannon! You're a life saver! ----

The End.
